I am really going to miss you all 3JR! You have all been lovely to teach and I hope you have a great time in Year 4 and continue all your hard work.
Thank you to parents and children for all your lovely gifts.
Have a great summer, have fun and stay safe.
See you in September!
Well done to all our class musicians who performed some songs for us! You are all fab! Keep up the practise.
Well done to all the children from Drama Club who performed in the Jungle Book. You did well to remember all your words. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.
Come and see our science week display on Tuesday or Wednesday morning in the Phizz Lab.
Congratulations to all the children who have had excellent attendance for the whole of this year. Keep up and see if you can get even better attendance for next year!
Today we compared rocks by observing different properties. We tested different types of sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rocks.
Find out about the different types of rocks.
We used chocolate to make sedimentary rocks. We will be having a go at making igneous and metamorphic using chocolate.
Why not try to have another go at home?
This week is Science week. We have made our own Volcanoes and got them to erupt using bicarbonate soda and vinegar. We also tried mentos and coke but this didn’t work as well. The children thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had a lovely Assembly from Severn Trent Water. We learnt all about the journey of water which starts from rivers, then the factory to be cleaned, clean water travels along blue pipes for us to use, dirty water travels along brown pipes to a factory so it be cleaned and then it can be released into rivers and oceans.
